Ritz Paris

Wow. This stay was a masterclass in warm, personable hospitality, paired with an exceptionally high standard across pretty much every detail. From the moment we arrived, the service at the Ritz Paris was absolutely impeccable. The hospitality team were attentive without ever feeling overbearing, and genuinely gracious throughout.

Steeped in history and synonymous with Parisian elegance, the Ritz has been welcoming guests since 1898, and it wears that legacy effortlessly. There’s a sense of occasion to simply being in the building, knowing how many artists, writers, and icons have passed through its doors over the decades, yet it never feels formal or intimidating.

Our suite was stunning and wonderfully quiet, overlooking the hotel’s beautiful internal courtyards. It felt calm and secluded, a peaceful retreat from the energy of the city while still being right at its heart.

The bars and restaurants are a true goldmine of world-class food and drink. Dining at Espadon was a standout, delivering exceptional cuisine in an elegant setting, while Bar Vendôme offered a more relaxed but equally refined experience. Evenings at Bar Hemingway were intimate, atmospheric, and effortlessly cool, with flawless cocktails and service to match. Across the board, the quality and consistency were remarkable.

The wellness facilities were equally impressive. The gym and pool were excellent, and the spa including the beautiful Ritz Club & Spa more than lived up to expectations, providing the perfect way to unwind after a day exploring Paris.

One tip for anyone planning a stay: be sure to book the hotel’s restaurants and bars well in advance, as they fill up quickly and for very good reason.

The location is ideal for exploring the city, placing you within easy reach of Paris’s many highlights. By the time we checked out, we were already planning when we’d return, always the clearest sign of a truly unforgettable stay.
