Estelle Manor

Estelle Manor is, first and foremost, a wonderfully unexpected place to find our favourite Chinese restaurant anywhere. The Billiards Room is an absolute dream, and we would happily return to Estelle Manor purely to eat there again. Though thankfully, there are plenty of other compelling reasons to come back too.

Originally built as a grand Oxfordshire country house, Estelle Manor carries a strong sense of heritage, and that history has been beautifully woven into its reinvention as a modern luxury retreat. The balance between past and present feels effortless, allowing the house to retain its character while embracing contemporary indulgence.

Our suite was simply stunning. The bathroom alone was so beautifully designed that we could have happily lived in it, and the accommodation as a whole perfectly captured Estelle’s signature blend of period opulence with a subtle, modern, ultra-luxury edge. Everything felt considered, indulgent, and effortlessly elegant.

The hotel’s signature baths were a highlight in themselves, evoking the feeling of stepping back a hundred years and living like royalty. The spa and wellness facilities were equally impressive. They were genuinely world class, and the perfect complement to the indulgence of the rooms.

The cocktail bar struck exactly the right note: cosy, relaxed, and beautifully elevated, with an atmosphere that made it very easy to settle in for the evening.
