This was a brilliant, great value family fun holiday!

The Peligoni Club has a fairly unusual set-up, with the resort centred around a club which has all of the main amenities and activities: restaurants, bars, water sports, kids clubs, gyms, tennis, yoga centres and a beach.

The villas are owned by private individuals and are rented out via Peligoni. They’re all dotted around the coast across the surrounding area, but this arrangement does mean that there’s a great deal of variance between the accommodation options (so little in the way of branded consistency)as well as their proximity. It’s definitely worth checking just how far your chosen villa is from the central facilities, as ours was a minimum 10-minute drive away. Overall, though, we were pleased with our villa and it had everything we needed to stay and relax in.

As a super active family, we found the fitness facilities superb. Every day was full of workouts, swimming, tennis games and yoga practice.

For us, this trip was all about the kids. They loved the activities they took part in, the experiences they had, and the friends they made. They adored it and for the money we paid, it was great value for the time they had.

The food and drinks were perfectly fine, and of a good standard for what you pay, but this isn’t haute cuisine and it’s not mind-blowing compared to some luxury resorts. The children enjoyed it all!

Overall, we found the Peligoni Club to be a great family option. That said, you’re advised to select your villa carefully and pay attention to how far it is from the club, as the set-up of the site caught us a little off-guard and wasn’t something we’d experienced before.
